I don't have a picture to add today but I really just want to say how proud I am of my sweet girls. They had their last soccer games today. Even though I have been somewhat looking forward to the end of the season, I am a little sad. We made some good friends and really enjoyed watching both of them. Ryley was so amazing! She just was an animal out there and did not stop moving until the coach blew the whistle. Once he did she would start twirling her hair like she all of a sudden realized that she was on a field with lots of people watching her. I don't know what her goal totals were this year but I would say it is over 30 for sure. Luca, my sweet little Soccer Rocker, did really well today she blocked some people from getting down the field and when she did she immediately looked at me and made a W with her fingers. That is her saying "do I get a Webkin outfit?" I made a deal with the girls that for every goal they made they would get a webkin outfit. Well after Ryley scored 7 goals one game I told them we needed to change the arrangement. They now get to pick from our treasure box at home (thank you Target $1 section). I did say to Luca that if she tried hard the whole game (no dancing on the field) that she could get a webkin outfit. She sure deserved it today. I was so proud of her. Her team won 1-0, their first win and last game! The parents just roared when it was over. We were so excited. One thing about Luca is she is so concerned about all the other players. If someone gets hurt (her team or not) she stops and helps them up and cannot refocus until she knows they are OK. Even if that means the game is still going on around her. I love her so much and I am glad she has such a tender compassionate heart. I just love being a mom to these precious little ladies. I hope they know that.
